Ingredients for Punjabi Garam Masala:
4 table-spoon coriander seeds (Dhaniya)
1/4 table-spoon cloves (Laung)
1 table-spoon cumin seeds (Jeera)
1/4 table-spoon bay leaves (Tej Patta)
1/4 table-spoon cinnamon (dal chini)
1 table-spoon Whole black pepper (Khadi Kali Mirch)
1/4 table-spoon black cardamoms (Moti Ilaichi)
1/2 table-spoon dry ginger powder (saunth)
How to make Punjabi Garam Masala:
- Dry Roast all the ingredients except dry ginger powder on low heat for 3-4 mins, stirring continuously. Now turn off the heat and cool to room temperature.
- Grind all the ingredients including dry ginger powder to a fine powder. Keep Punjabi Garam masala powder in an air-tight glass jar.
