Turmeric is medicinal in nature and used as a very popular ingredient in many dishes. It is yellow in colour and normally used in powdered form.

How to make Turmeric Powder:
- Keep the dry turmeric under sunlight for 2-3 hours before pounding.
- Pound turmeric into smaller pieces. Grind it to a fine powder.
Note - Keep turmeric powder in a dry place in an airtight container.
