Bharwa Bhindi Masala Recipe
Bharwa (Stuffed) Bhindi Masala is one of the mouth watering dish. It is easy to make & liked by everyone. This is a fantastic side dish for chapatis. It also goes well with rice and dal.
Ingredients for Stuffed Bharwa Bhindi :
250 gms Bhindi, washed & dried (Okra)
1 medium sized onion (chopped lenth-wise)
1\4 teaspoon amchur (Dried Mango Powder)
3 table-spoon cooking oil
salt to taste
For the filling:
2 teasoon coriander powder (pisa dhaniya)
1\2 teasoon turmeric powder(haldi)
1\2 teasoon red chilli powder(lal mirch)
1\4 teaspoon amchur (Dried Mango Powder)
1\4 teasoon garam masala
1 teasoon salt
How to make Bharwa Bhindi Masala :
- Cut off the top & bottom of the dried bhindi. Make a long slit in bhindi for the filling.
- Mix all the ingredients of the filling in a bowl. Fill this mixture in bhindi
- and keep it aside.
- Heat the oil in a big frying pan. Add the chopped onions & stuffed bhindis. Also, add amchur & salt.
- Fry it in low flame for some time. Then cover it till the bhindi gets fried and cooked well. Stir the Bharwa Bhindi upside down 2-3 times during cooking.
- Bharwa Bhindi Masala is ready to serve hot with chapatis, dal or rice.
