Rum Glaze / Syrup is often used as a frosting in rum cake or simple butter cake. It is really easy and simple to make and take no time.
Ingredients for Rum Glaze / Syrup :
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/3 cup dark rum
a little amount of water
How to make Rum Glaze / Syrup :
- In a medium saucepan combine butter, water and sugar. Bring it to boil, reduce the heat to low and increase the thickness of Syrup. Turn off the heat
- Add dark Rum to the syrup and mix well. Rum Glaze is ready.
