Ingredients for Dal Kofta:
2 1/2 cups arhar dal/toor dal
7-8 green chillies finely chopped
4 table-spoon spoon grated coconut
1 pinch asafotida (hing)
3 1/2 table-spoon cumin powder (Jeera)
3 1/2 table-spoon finely chopped coriander leaves (hara dhaniya)
Salt to taste
How to make Dal Kofta:
- Keep dal in water over night. Remove water and wash it 2-3 times. Now take a grinder and grind dal coarsely
- Now add the remaining ingredients to dal mixture and mix it thoroughly
- Now make small kofta balls and cook them in a pressure cooker for 15 mins.
- Serve hot. Sprinkle some finely chopped coriander leaves.
