Avocado Chutney is also known as Nashpati ki chutney. An Indian Avocado Chutney recipe is tangy in flavour and very healthy in nature.
Ingredients for Avocado chutney:
2 medium sized Avocado, (Nashpati)
2 medium sized onion, chopped
5-6 whole green chillies
2 t-spoon lemon juice (Nimbu ka ras)
10-15 coriander leaves, finely chopped (Dhaniya patti)
20 Curry leaves, (Kadhi patta)
1 table-spoon cooking oil
salt to taste
How to make Avocado chutney:
- Peel the avocado and chop it into small pieces removing its seeds.
- Take a small fry pan and heat 1 table-spoon oil in it. Then, add green chillies, avocado pieces, onion and curry leaves. Fry them on low heat until onions gets shallow brown. Then turn off the heat.
- Now take a grinder, add fried mixture and remaining ingredients. Grind everything to form a smooth paste.
- Avocado chutney is ready to eat.
