Bread Roll Recipe

Bread Roll is really easy to make.

Ingredients for Bread Roll :

7-8 slices of Bread
3-4 potatoes
1 onion, chopped
1 green chilly, chopped
1 t-spoon cumin seeds
1/2 t-spoon Turmeric powder
1/4 t-spoon red chilli powder
2 table-spoon coriander leaves, Finely chopped
salt to taste
1 table-spoon cooking oil
Oil to deep fry

 

How to make Stuffed Bread Roll :

  • Pressure cook potatoes in sufficient amount of water with 2 whistles. Peel potatoes and mash them properly by adding Turmeric powder, red chili powder, chopped green chili and coriander leaves in a large bowl.
  • Take a thick bottom pan and heat 1 table-spoon oil in it. Splutter cumin seeds in it and add chopped onion. Keep the flame to medium. After a minute, add mashed potatoes and mix it properly. Fry for a minute, turn off the heat.
  • Take water in a deep bottom bowl and dip a piece of bread in it. Immediately squeeze out the water by firmly pressing it with both hands and removing the brown sides of bread.
  • Put 2-3 table-spoon of potato stuffing inside bread and seal the top edge properly to form a round ball. Repeat the process for all the slices of bread.
