Fruit Raita Recipe

Fruit raita is the combination of all types of fruits, along with curd. Fruit raita is one of the most diverse ingredients raita recipe in which you can use any type of fruits available to you. Try the easy recipe of fruit raita shown below.

Ingredients for Fruit Raita:

Fruits: You may take all the fruits or the combination of any of these
1 Bananas, chopped
4 table-spoon Pineapple, chopped
1/2 Apple, chopped
1/2 Ripe Mango, chopped
4 table-spoon Pomegranate seeds (Anar dana)

Raita:
1 1/2 cup yogurt (dahi)
1/2 t-spoon black salt or to taste (kala namak)
1/4 t-spoon black pepper (Kali mirch)
10-15 fresh coriander leaves
1/2 cup water

 

How to make Fruit Raita:

  • Take a medium sized bowl and add yogurt to it. Mash it with a blender or madani until it gets smooth. Add water and remaining ingredients except Fruits and again mix them well.
  • Now, add all the fruits to it and mix it again.  Refrigerate Fruit raita for 1/2 hour
  • Before serving, garnish Fruit raita with finely chopped coriander leaves and serve chilled
