Ingredients for Tamarind Powder:

Dry whole Tamarind (Imli)

 

How to make Tamarind Powder:

  • Keep dry Tamarind under sunlight for 2-3 days or till in gets really crisp.
  • Remove its seeds and discard. Take out its pulp.
  • Grind Tamarind pulp to a fine powder. Tamarind powder is ready to use.

Note - Keep Tamarind powder in a dry airtight jar.
