Ingredients for Garam Masala Powder:
4 table-spoon coriander seeds (Dhaniya)
1/4 table-spoon cloves (Laung)
1 table-spoon cumin seeds (Jeera)
1 1/2 t-spoon black cumin seeds (shahjeera)
1/4 table-spoon bay leaves (Tej Patta)
1/4 table-spoon cinnamon (dal chini)
1 table-spoon Whole black pepper (Khadi Kali Mirch)
1/4 table-spoon black cardamoms (Moti Ilaichi)
1/2 table-spoon dry ginger powder (saunth)
How to make Garam Masala Powder:
- Take a small pan and put all the ingredients in it except dry ginger powder. Now roast them on low heat for 3-4 mins, stir continuously. Now turn off the heat and cool it.
- Dry Grind all the ingredients including dry ginger powder to form a smooth powder. Put this Garam masala powder in a air-tight jar.
