Fresh Ginger cannot be used in many recipes like dry ginger tea, light curries and as an Indian sonth. So, it should be dried and converted in a powdered form which can be kept for long.

How to Dry Ginger Root :

  • Peel off the skin of fresh Ginger root and slice it. Keep the sliced ginger under sunlight for 2-3 days or till moisture evaporated completely.


  • Grind dried ginger to a fine powder. Dry Ginger powder is ready to use.
  • Store it in a dry airtight jar.
