Fresh Ginger to Ground Ginger
Fresh Ginger cannot be used in many recipes like dry ginger tea, light curries and as an Indian sonth. So, it should be dried and converted in a powdered form which can be kept for long.
How to Dry Ginger Root :
- Peel off the skin of fresh Ginger root and slice it. Keep the sliced ginger under sunlight for 2-3 days or till moisture evaporated completely.
- Grind dried ginger to a fine powder. Dry Ginger powder is ready to use.
- Store it in a dry airtight jar.
