Jal jeera is one of the most popular Indian summer drink. It is sometimes pronounced as jal jeera pani recipe or jal jira.
Ingredients for Jal Jeera:
2 table-spoon Mint leaves (Pudina ki patti)
1/2 t-spoon Cumin seeds, roasted and grounded (Jeera)
1 large lemon (Nimbu)
1/2 t-spoon Black salt (kala namak)
1/4 t-spoon salt or to taste
a pinch of red chilli powder
10 corriander leaves (Dhaniya patti)
2 t-spoon raw mango pulp, boiled (optional) (Uble hue kacche aam ka guda)
1 1/2 cups chilled water
3-4 ice cubes
How to make Jal Jeera:
- Grind mint and coriander leaves to form a paste. Add lemon juice to it.
- Take water in a bowl or jug and add all the ingredients to it. Mix it well for 2 mins.
- Serve Jal Jeera chilled in glasses and add ice cubes to it.
