Basil Chutney recipe is also known as Tulsi ki Chutney Recipe. It is good for people having problems with digestion.
Ingredients for Basil chutney:
4-5 medium sized red Tomatoes
1/4 cup Basil leaves (Tulsi ke patte)
1 table-spoon coriander leaves (Dhaniya patti)
5-6 whole red chillies (Khadi laal mirch)
2 green chillies
a small pieces of ginger (Adrak)
1 t-spoon tamarind pulp, seeds removed (Imli)
1 table-spoon dry coconut powder, grated (Nariyal)
1 t-spoon cooking oil
Salt to taste
How to make Basil chutney:
- Fry red chillies in 1 t-spoon oil for a minute.
- Take out the leaves of Coriander leaving the stem. Chop the tomato into small pieces.
- Take a grinder and add all the ingredients including basil and salt to taste. Grind them well to form a thick paste.
- Basil chutney is ready to eat.
